Instructions: Print out the document and make sure that no page scaling is preset. Cut out the template along the red dotted line. Place the watch on your wrist and pull the strap through the cut slit. Make sure that the template is not too tight on your wrist and that you have a little space between your fingers.

Please note that leather underbands result in a longer strap length.

Since its launch in August 2024, the Preventor HD12™ has not only set new standards in terms of robustness and suitability for everyday use, but has also established itself as one of the bestsellers in the Hanhart portfolio. The combination of scratch-resistant HD12™ steel, classic Hanhart design and reliable automatic movement struck a chord with the times and enjoyed enormous demand.

Now, together with the specialist magazine Armbanduhren, we are proud to present an exclusive special edition that is causing a stir with its deep, silky purple dial. The ``Silk Purple`` combines the technical strength and precision of the Preventor HD12™ with a bold, modern color accent - a timepiece that will delight collectors and watch enthusiasts alike.

PURPLE ADVENTURE

The color of the special edition makes the Preventor HD12™ an extravagant and stylish outdoor watch, complementing and yet setting it apart from the non-limited versions in dark blue and black. The matt background in dark purple provides a perfect contrast to the Arabic numerals printed in white with an overlay of luminescent Super Luminova C1 X2, which shimmers green in the dark. The same luminescent material is also used for the skeletonized hands for hours and minutes, which have their origins in military pocket watches.

Even the filigree seconds hand, including the counterweight, is coated with luminescent material and its red-lacquered second hand bends towards its red-lacquered tip to ensure perfect readability by reducing the parallax effect. Limited to a total of 200 pieces, 150 of which will be sold in Germany, the Preventor HD12™ ``Silk Purple`` is a rare statement on the wrist. Made from hardened HD12™ stainless steel, the watch can easily withstand the ordeals of everyday life as well as major adventures.

HD12™-STEEL

SCRATCH-RESISTANT ALL-ROUNDER

The solid screw-down case of the Preventor HD12™ is water-resistant to 15 bar, making it ideal for everyday use and contact with water. It is made from the newly developed HD12™ steel from Hanhart, in which carbon is diffused into the stainless steel in a multi-stage hardening process. This creates a gradual transition from a tougher core to a hard surface. In addition, the case is given a transparent PVD coating, which makes it even more resistant to scratches. The HD12™ steel achieves a surface hardness of an impressive 1200 HV according to Vickers - more than five times that of conventional 316L stainless steel with around 220 HV. By comparison, the scratch-resistant, convex sapphire crystal of the watch has a hardness of around 2000 HV.

The finely coordinated surface finish combines brushed surfaces on the horns, case flanks and bezel with polished accents, including the historic Hanhart ``h`` logo on the crown and on the back. With its balanced proportions - 39 millimetres in diameter, 10.5 millimetres high and 46 millimetres long over the lugs - the case impresses with its robustness, elegance and harmonious design.

SELITTA SW-200-1 OR SOPROD SOP P024

RELIABLE AUTOMATIC MOVEMENT

Inside the Preventor HD12™ is the Sellita caliber SW200-1 or Soprod SOP P024. It controls the hours, minutes and center seconds, whereby the Hanhart version is deliberately designed without a date display and also without a date detent position on the crown. The movement beats at a frequency of 4 Hertz or 28,800 vibrations per hour and has a stop-second function when the crown is pulled out, which enables the time to be set precisely. The automatically winding rotor with Hanhart signature ensures a reliable power supply and guarantees a power reserve of up to 38 hours.

PVD COATING

SATINIZED LINK BRACELET

The ``Silk Purple`` is worn on a solid stainless steel bracelet with a 20 millimeter lug and a folding clasp bearing the historic Hanhart logo. To make it particularly resistant to scratches, the steel bracelet also has a transparent PVD coating. The clasp is equipped with a practical folding clasp with tool-free fine adjustment - a function that was frequently requested by many customers. With the new mechanism, the length of the bracelet can be quickly and easily adjusted by up to 10 mm. All you need to do is press a small button on the clasp and the bracelet can be adjusted to fit the wrist comfortably and smoothly. This ensures a perfect fit at all times - without the need for tools or specialist knowledge. The individual elements of the bracelet have a high-quality finish and are carefully screwed together to ensure stability and durability.
