TRUE LEGENDS
PIONEER TwinDicator
Thanks to an exclusive and complex conversion of its automatic caliber, these two displays can be placed right at the edge of the generously proportioned case with a diameter of 45 millimeters.
In addition, the small round dial at 9 o'clock is not reserved for the small seconds, as is usually the case, but also houses a practical hour counter.
MODEL FROM THE 30S
TRADITION IMPLEMENTED IN A CONTEMPORARY WAY
The large, handy crown with a deep bevel guarantees easy and safe handling.
The bezel is a thin, fluted design with a good grip and can be turned to either side with red markings.
At 40 mm, the case of the early pilot's watches was unusually large for the time and had a matt finish so that no shiny parts could dazzle the pilot during the flight.
The Pioneer TwinDicator, on the other hand, emphasizes its exclusivity with the elegant contrast between satin-finished and polished surfaces.
TWO SUB-DIALS
DISTINCTIVE DIAL
Thanks to an exclusive and complex modification of its automatic caliber, these two displays can be placed right at the edge of the generously proportioned dial with a case diameter of 45 millimeters.
Together with the numerals 2 and 4 and 8 and 10, the centers of these displays form a straight, vertical axis, resulting in a balanced symmetry.
In addition, the small round at 9 o'clock is not reserved for the small seconds, as is usually the case, but also houses a practical 12-hour counter.
Although the Pioneer TwinDicator thus retains the bicompax display form, it still has all the functions of a tricompax chronograph.
THE PIONEER COLLECTION - A MUST FOR COLLECTORS
Pilot’s chronographs with two widely spaced displays established Hanhart’s image back in the 1930s.
The Pioneer TwinDicator is based on this tradition of the Swiss-German brand, but reinterprets it technically and aesthetically.
A LEGEND BECOMES A TRADEMARK
THE RED PUSHER
Legend has it that when a young pilot put on his Hanhart one morning, he discovered that his wife had painted one of the pushers with red nail polish so that he would always remember her and return unharmed.
This distinctive red pusher became Hanhart's trademark from 1939 onwards.
It prevented pilots from unintentionally resetting the stopped time during flight and thus leaving the correct course.
