Instructions: Print out the document and make sure that no page scaling is preset. Cut out the template along the red dotted line. Place the watch on your wrist and pull the strap through the cut slit. Make sure that the template is not too tight on your wrist and that you have a little space between your fingers.
Please note that leather underbands result in a longer strap length.

PIONEER MonoScope
Like its legendary predecessors from Hanhart, the PIONEER MonoScope has a single pusher to control all chronograph functions. With the widely spaced displays for the small seconds and the 30-minute counter, the new model in the PIONEER collection also incorporates another eye-catching feature of the Swiss-German watch brand's early precision timepieces.
EXCEPTIONAL DESIGN
SINGLE-PUSH-BUTTON MODEL
The technical implementation with a single pusher is also the characteristic feature of the Pioneer MonoScope. The automatic movement ticking in its generously proportioned 45-millimeter stainless steel case has been slightly redesigned for this purpose. The lever, which is located directly below the pusher that is normally positioned at 4 o'clock, has no function. The third stroke on the chronograph cam is thus performed by the large gearshift. To do this, this cam is modified so that an additional prong runs along its lowest level. This allows the shift lever to control not two, but three positions.

However, this is not the only special feature of the new model in the<br>Pioneer collection. A further modification to the caliber allows the two displays for the small seconds and the 30-minute counter typical of Hanhart chronographs to be positioned on the periphery of the dial. Their aesthetics thus perfectly match those of their predecessors from the 1930s, which owed this arrangement to the early 15.5-line manufacture caliber from Hanhart. In the Pioneer MonoScope, the centers of the two displays together with the numbers 2 and 4 or 8 and 10 form a straight vertical axis, resulting in a balanced symmetry.
THE PIONEER COLLECTION - A MUST FOR COLLECTORS
In 1938, Hanhart designed a single-pusher model for naval officers, which had its own “Caliber 40”. In this unusual wristwatch, all chronograph functions – start, stop and zero setting – are performed using the same pusher and always run in strict sequence. Unlike its counterpart with two pushers, the chronograph second hand cannot be kept running after it has been stopped; the next time it is pressed, it jumps back to its starting point.

With its riveted strap made of sturdy, durable calfskin, the PIONEER MonoScope is comfortable to wear from day one. A high-quality pin buckle ensures that the watch is held securely in place. For further design options, we also offer waistband bracelets in dark brown and light brown. The MonoScope is also available with a stainless steel bracelet.
A LEGEND BECOMES A TRADEMARK
THE RED PUSHER
The red reset button on the side is a striking feature of the PIONEER collection. Legend has it that when a young pilot put on his Hanhart one morning, he discovered that his wife had painted one of the pushers with red nail polish so that he would always think of her and return unharmed. This striking red pusher became Hanhart's trademark from 1939 onwards. It prevented the pilots from unintentionally resetting the stopped time during the flight and thus leaving the correct course.
