TRADITION IN DETAIL
The 417 ES is a piece of living Hanhart tradition.
Its fluted bezel rotates continuously in both directions and its red position markings are reminiscent of the original from the 1950s.
The numbers and lettering on the dial in the characteristic bicompax layout and the symmetrical pusher spacing have also been adopted from the historic model.
This is why it rightly bears the historic Hanhart logo.

THE LEGENDARY 417
Robustheit, Zuverlässigkeit und Ablesbarkeit. Nach diesen drei Kriterien baut Hanhart ab Mitte der 1950er Jahre den ersten Flieger-Chronographen der Bundeswehr. Sein Name lautet 417 und seine Aufgabe ist der kompromisslose Einsatz am Handgelenk der Piloten. Fast zehn Jahre beliefert Hanhart die deutschen Streitkräfte mit dem Chronographen, bis sich die Marke 1963 auf den Bau von Handstoppuhren konzentriert. Die wenigen noch erhaltenen Exemplare der ursprünglichen 417 haben sich seitdem zu den begehrtesten Vintage-Chronographen aus Deutschland entwickelt.
Mit der neuen Hanhart 417 ES, deren angehängtes Buchstabenkürzel wie einst für Edelstahl steht, feiern wir die Rückkehr dieser legendären Stopparmbanduhr.

Unser Ziel war es, die 417 ES so schmal wie möglich zu konzipieren, damit sie am Handgelenk präsent aber nicht überproportioniert wirkt. Trotz des stark bombierten Saphirglases ist sie nur 13,3 mm hoch.
