Congratulations to the 50 year anniversary
Hanhart’s brand new and strictly limited S-Series is dedicated to a very special anniversary: 50 years of Saab 105 at the Austrian Air Force.
The design of the instrument watches is based on the cockpit clocks of the aircraft Saab 105, bringing a piece of history of the Austrian Air Force to the wrist of the wearer. The S 105 OE and S 105 OE GMT are based on the cockpit clock of the Saab 105 that is used by the Austrian Air Force and the SK 60 GMT is based on the clock of the Swedish model of the Saab 105, which is called SK 60.
As with the entire Hanhart collection, the watchmakers focus on functionality, quality and contemporary aesthetics. Ever since, the company’s timepieces have been geared towards the following principles: maximum precision and reliability, perfect readability, simple and secure operation, and the greatest possible robustness.
Even with this limited special edition, precision, reliability, perfect readability by day and night and safe operation have the highest priority in the production.
A diameter of 40mm, the simple design and the yellow accents in the SK 60 GMT, stand out and make the Hanhart S series unique.

The S 105 OE in the Austrian Air Force
In 1970, the Saab 105 OE was introduced in the Austrian Air Force. Probably the most important deviation from the basic model SK60 was the engine.
The Austrian version has GE engines of 1290 kp each and therefore significantly more thrust and almost twice as much power as the original SK 60.
Six underwing stations with a maximum of 2,350 kg of combat equipment. Non-guided missiles: 6 launch rails for 2 missiles on each side, Calibre 75 mm.
Do you already have a watch from the S series?
Then you will find care tips for cleaning the special PVD coating.
In the event of slight soiling, we recommend cleaning the PVD-coated parts with liquid hand detergent, rinsing them immediately with cold water and then rubbing them dry with a clean cloth (cotton cloth).
Even if the surface is very resistant to external influences, we do not recommend abrasive cleaning agents, pad sponges or the use of microfiber cloths.
Cleaners containing hydrochloric acid, formic acid, chlorine bleach, acetic acid or phosphoric acid must not be used.
Under the category watch care you will find further information for the correct cleaning of coated watches!
