THE WATCH

THE HANHART FLIGHT DESIGN LE

Hanhart upholds the tradition in producing legendary pilot watches and unites the clear instrument inspired design of its predecessor from 1938 with the outstanding technology of the 21 century. In both form and function, the Hanhart Flight Design Limited Edition is a virtually perfect example of a classic pilot’s watch. The black-coloured dial with luminescent indices is reduced to essentials: legibility is a top priority.

The watch, which is water-resistant to 10 bar, is powered by the automatic movement HAN4112 and has a 38-hour power reserve. In terms of precision and robustness – and like all its predecessors – the Hanhart Flight Design LE meets the full schedule of requirements for professional Pilot’s Watches “Made in Germany”.

The Hanhart Flight Design LE is strictly limited to 30 pieces on the occasion of Flight Design’s 30th anniversary. The limitation is engraved on the case bottom and the Flight Design logo is placed on the black dial. The distinctive trademark of this watch is the small seconds totalizer at 9 o’clock.

GOOD TO KNOW

THE TRADITION OF HANHART PILOT WATCHES

CHRONOGRAPHS FOR MILITARY OPERATIONS

The origin of Hanhart chronographs has never been representing fashion accessories or luxury items but in serving as reliable tools for pilots and military officers. The first legendary Hanhart pilots watch entered production in 1938 called the “Calibre 40”, which already had to withstand extreme vibrations, enormous temperature changes and further tough conditions. It ensured a perfect readability, even in the dark. Since then Hanhart chronographs have been produced under the claims of maximum precision and reliability, extreme legibility, simple and secure operation, and the greatest possible robustness.

THE ART OF WATCHMAKING

Within the walls of Hanhart, one can witness the most traditional art of watchmaking is being employed alongside innovative processes, an authentic fusion between Hanhart’s long tradition and progress.

Hanhart developed in cooperation with the Swiss movement manufacturer La Joux-Perret a modification that used to obtain the Hanhart typical bi-compax display form for its PIONEER collection. As a basis, Hanhart uses the fully integrated self-winding, twenty-five jewel movement ETA 7750 that meets extremely strict criteria for precision. The complete movement is assembled from over 200 individual components.
