One of Hanhart’s key aspirations is to offer maximum wearing comfort. This is why the PRIMUS models are built with flexible screwed-on lugs at an angle of 45 ° – 50 °. They are integrated into the vulcanized rubber strap and adapt perfectly to any wrist size.
THE SAPPHIRE GLASS CASE BACK
Sapphire glass on the back of the watch case reveals the automatic movement and the rotor with skeletonized Hanhart logo. In addition to an impressive view of the finely crafted inner workings, the internally anti-reflective sapphire glass offers outstanding protection for watch movement.

FLUTED BEZEL WITH RED MARKING
At Hanhart, form and function are closely linked. That is especially true of the bezel, which forms an essential component of the unmistakable, visual identity of the Hanhart watches. Various bezels in widely varying designs, rotating and non-rotating, were developed in Gütenbach over the years.
Initially, the bi-directional fluted bezel with the inlaid red marking had a functional purpose: it made it possible to measure lap times, served as navigation, and guaranteed secure handling. Over time, the distinctive fluted bezel became an aesthetic element—a true trademark.
THE RED BUTTON
One of the most distinctive trademarks, the red button, underlines the connection between Hanhart’s first chronographs, the mechanical stopwatches, and the new collection.
Since 1939, it has been a characteristic feature of the Hanhart watches and was originally intended to prevent pilots from unintentionally zeroing the time. For the models in the Primus collection, it was refined with anodized aluminum.
